The dinos finally talk in the latest trailer for Disney/Pixar’s ‘The Good Dinosaur’

It is very evident that Pixar is back on the top of their game following the release of their celebrated emotional ride Inside Out this August. Prior to its’ release you may be aware of their other offering The Good Dinosaur. The title alone makes it sound very interesting, which quickly made it one of my most awaited films to be released during the year’s final months. Either through its’ posters or trailer, Pixar likes to keeps things mysterious which always leave us wanting for more. The teasers and the first batch of trailers for the film were quite simple by presenting us the concept. Finally, Disney/Pixar has released the first-ever ‘big’ trailer for The Good Dinosaur. View it here:

Unlike the teasers and even theatrical trailers released for it, this latest look for Pixar’s pre-historic adventure gives us so much more. It offers us in-depth details regarding the story, lets us hear the characters’ voices and leaves us in utter excitement. The concept is pretty much straightforward: What if the asteroid that destroyed Earth millions of years ago missed? That means that the dinosaurs lived but it is undoubtedly more than just that, judging by the fact that this is a Pixar feature.

Directed by Peter Sohn (Pixar Shorts’ Partly Cloudly), ‘The Good Dinosaur’ travels back millions of years and puts us in a what-if scenario wherein the asteroid that was supposed to put the dinosaurs to their extinction missed. We meet Arlo, an Apatosaurus who loses his father after a fateful accident. One day he falls upon a river and gets knocked out by a rock. On a journey to find his way home, he befriends a human caveboy that he names Spot.

The Good Dinosaur will feature the voices of Alan Tudyk, Jeffrey Wright, Steve Zahn, A.J. Buckley, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott and Frances McDormand.

Disney/Pixar’s ‘The Good Dinosaur’ opens in Philippine cinemas on November 25 in 3D. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Philippines.
