‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II’ IMAX poster is laden with hidden meanings

The IMAX poster for Mockingjay Part II is here and all I can say is that it is artistic. Though evidently still not as aesthetically pleasing as Catching Fire’s, there’s no denying that the poster is a work of art. Just take a look at it:


There’s an abundance of symbolism, ranging from the rose sitting on Katniss’ left eye to the ‘blood’ on the other two roses on the lower part of the poster. It just looks really clean and smooth with the white, gray and red colors surrounding it. I hope that this’ll get an IMAX release here in the PH because I wanna take that home.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II will be coming to cinemas nationwide this November. Not really sure if it’ll get the IMAX treatment here in the Philippines, but I hope it does.
