Suicide Squad’s The Joker + Enchantress Get Featured In Yet Another Batch of Empire Magazine’s Covers

Yesterday, LIVE/LOVE/CINEMA brought to you new pics from ‘Suicide Squad’ plus, your latest look at Jared Leto’s The Joker as he takes over the front cover. Today, brand-new exclusive covers for Empire Magazine’s December issue have made it online and L/L/C is here to let you take a peek at these new covers.

Enter the Madman: This cover featuring our Clown Prince of Crime has him in a deep purple backdrop, holding what seems to be an electrocution torture device and, rocking that purple robe once again . I know it’s a little bit early to speculate, but I’m guessing that it will be the same device used to torment Harley Quinn as seen in the trailer.

Meet the Gloomy Charmer: At last, we get to see our best look yet at Cara Delevingne’s mysterious dark sorceress “Enchantress” as she stands in a blue backdrop filled with skulls. It appears that her body is laced with inscriptions and one can see that she is wearing weird chains in her arm. Oh, and you can also notice that there’s an upside-down crescent moon on her hair. I’m not sure what that means, but I’m gonna take a guess that it has something to do with her mystical powers. Cara has said that her character will have “two sides; one is a scientist, the other a feral witch”. Ooh, interesting!

With these two exclusive covers seeing the light of day, we can hope that a few or more covers will be making their way online. I’m guessing the next ones to have ‘Harley Quinn’, ‘Deadshot’ and or ‘Captain Boomerang’. If we’re lucky, we might even see the entire squad for a group photo. Who knows, right?

Suicide Squad is directed by David Ayer (End of Watch/Fury) and stars Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street), Cara Delevingne (Paper Towns), Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club), Will Smith (Bad Boys), Jai Courtney (Terminator: Genisys), Joel Kinnaman (Robocop), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Game of Thrones), and Viola Davis (Prisoners).

Suicide Squad is aiming for a August 2016 release here in the Philippines. It will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures
(Philippines).
