After months of enduring the leaked Comic-Con trailer which got us all excited even after seeing blurry images and hearing unclear dialogue, Fox has finally released the first-ever trailer for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’.

You can view it here:

The trailer seems slightly similar to that of the leaked version that made its way online a few months ago, but a lot of new footage has been unleashed as seen in the tweaked trailer that also features our best look at Apocalypse yet.

New footage includes action shots featuring Angel, Storm and Magneto as part of The Four Horsemen as well as Apocalypse unleashing hell on Earth; showcasing his true power and might.

Since the dawn of civilization, Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant, was worshiped as a god. Amassing the powers of many other mutants, he became immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants to cleanse humanity and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven with the help of Professor X must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their nemesis.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ is directed by Bryan Singer, written by Michael Dougherty, Dan Harris, and Simon Kinberg. It stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Evan Peters, Oscar Isaac, Rose Byrne, Sophie Turner, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Kodi-Smit McPhee, Lucas Till, Alexandra Shipp, and Ben Hardy.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ is currently eyeing a May 2016 release.
