AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR will begin shooting November of this year! In an interview with Deadline, the Russo Brothers stated that:
“We already started them, a couple months ago. We had to,” Joe Russo said of pre-production on the films. With an epic structure and two movies that have to both interconnect and also weave in and out of the other MCU films in the interim, that’s no surprise. “We start shooting in November, two movies back to back. So we need two scripts ASAP, and we probably started working on them six months ago.”
Anthony Russo said that when they were looking at the plan for Infinity War and meeting Thanos, “the greatest threat that the universe has ever seen,” they looked for a fun way to “set the stage.” “This was part of the reason we embraced Civil War. Is like, yeah, well, let’s shatter The Avengers before we get there. And make it fun to see if and how they come back,” said Anthony Russo.
From the sound of it, it looks like our craving for Thanos and the Avengers will be satisfied since we all know that the Russos are changing the game with the MCU. Months ago, the Russos announced that they will be shooting the films back-to-back meant the strengthening of the relationship between the cast and crew alike.
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR PART I will be arriving in Philippine cinemas in 2018 with PART II arriving just a year later in 2019.
Meanwhile, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is still showing in Philippine cinemas.
